The name and the Lincoln Ridge brand started as The Smith Family was returning home from picking up some calves in the Midwest. They stopped in Lincoln, Nebraska for a Great Pyrenees puppy that now bears the name of his birthplace, Lincoln. With the ridge-like terrain on the ranch in Chesterfield, Virginia and the family’s love of Lincoln, the brand was born, and Lincoln Ridge was formed.

Today our mission is to operate as a premier agribusiness, having interests in Highland Cattle ranching, performance horses, outdoor recreation, and distilling fine spirits.
